Annotation. The XIII International Sociological Readings dedicated to the memory of Natalia Panina, who would have turned 70 on December 10, were held in Kiev. The event was organized by the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Sociology Center named after Natalia Panina. The participants in the main reading panel discussed the path taken by the sociology of independent Ukraine and set the working mood for the participants in the working sections. The first section was devoted to innovations and modern technologies, which are adopted by sociology. The second section focused on relevant aspects of the sociology of the city. The third section discussed social groups in the context of the issue of justice. The fourth section focused on foreign representations of Ukrainian sociology. Finally, the fifth section was dedicated to rewarding the leading Ukrainian media for their contribution to the popularization and dissemination of sociological knowledge.
